| | | Ive got a K75 also, 1986 black, working on the fuel system right now, couldn't afford a Bosch fuel pump, so I adapted one from a mustang. Got it running with the pump submerged in a can of fuel, fuel rail and injectors need cleaning, and I need to fix a hole in the tank, but I'll get her goin' sometime....... How does yours do on the highway?

| what version do you have, mine has about 70,000 miles (12k by me) on it and runs like a top. Its great on the highway, though it revs high. Usually about 6000-6500rpms around 80. But is smooth like butter, so I don't mind. im thinking about putting in progressive springs in the front. it's something like $75 for a pair

| | | I think mine is just the plain K75, it does have an aftermarket sport fairing, pretty small and turns with the forks. I know a guy that rode his from Los Angeles to Alaska, he bought a larger diameter rear tire and that helped the revving issue, but you will lose a bit of steam regarding off the line acceleration. Mine has 30,000 miles on it, real nice shape, has the side bags and tail rack, I also removed the splash guard, and lic plate, it do look cleaner. I have a Triumph speed triple, it spins 5000rpm at 90mph, these three cylinder models like ours, are supposed to have the low end grunt of a twin, but also be able to rev like a four.

| | | SD, yours looks just as uncomfortable as mine for a long trip. I rode two hours on it once!!!!!!! Now If I'm gonna go on longer trips I'll take my old XV750, she's slower, heavier, gets worse milage, but at least I don't feel like I got drug thru a knothole backwards. 1.
