| | | Weird dream experiences. < on 2/9/2009 12:14 AM > | Reply with Quote
| | | Thought this was an appropriate spot for this. 6-8 months back or so, I had a dream where I was exploring a dark building with no lights on and I stepped on a bunch of rusty nails which all penetrated my foot. And that was it, at least I thought so. The next day a few buddies and I decided to go and chill in a near by vacant hospital near by which all of us had visited at least 20 times and considered a second home. Note that at this point I had completely forewisdom about the previous nights dream. So, we walked around for a bit and ended up just hanging out in one of the old patient rooms on the 3rd floor. Just recently, the place got seriously nailed by scrappers and the place was filled with hazards. There was copper wiring/rebar hanging down everywhere shit all over the floors etc... One of our other friends called my cell phone who had declined our adventure invite earlier on. He now said that he was bored and wanted to come after all, and would one of us go to the basement to let him inside through the crash-bar style door. Myself and one other agreed to go down and let him in. My buddy had a weak light but I did not, but I knew the place like the back of my hand and often times rome the hospitals corridors in complete darkness. It enhances the "creepy" vibe that most buildings of this type offer and this one was no exception. In fact, we often experience odd things throughout the place and I'm very interested in said activity. Anyways, we headed down the first 3 flights of stairs to the ground level. At that point we were going to walk to a different stairway into the basement. My buddy was in front of me on his phone and I was behind 20 or so feet. I was about 10 feet from the first step down when I felt an intense, stabbing pain in my foot. Right at that moment I experienced a deja vu of the dream I had the night before. I knew exactly what had happened before I even looked down at my foot. When I looked down, I saw a small piece of wood with 6 or so rusty nails sticking out of it and into my foot. I franticly yelled for my friend to come over and investigate with his light. 3 of the 6 nails had completely penetrated my foot and somehow, the others did not. Anyways, after I pulled them out and inspected the damage (wasn't too serious), we headed down to get my buddy. I was pretty freaked out, not about the pain but about the weird experience as a whole. That is the only time I've experienced "phsycic dreams" so to speak. Way too many details were dead on for it to be a coincidence, at least in my opinion. Anyways, just thought I'd share this one with you guys. I haven't told many people about it. If anyone else has a similar experience they would like to share that's be awesome. Thanks.

| | | About two weeks ago I had a dream about being in an old, abandoned house. I could see details of the house very clearly (i.e. fireplaces, details in the molding around the doorways, etc etc). There was a lot more to this dream, a lot of weird stuff that sounded as if I was actually tripping on acid, but anyway, about 4 days after that dream a friend of mine called me up to do some exploring and he had found a house he had been dying to get into. Well, sure as shit, the house we went to was literally the same house in my dream. It freaked me out and I didn't tell him until we exited. But as much as it freaked me out, it was still awesome. I hope it happens more often.
