Hello! My name is Sierra and I am from Lexington, Kentucky. I am new to this community but I have been exploring for many years with my dad.

I enjoy hiking, reading, gaming, sports, and spending time with my husband (who also wants to get into exploring) and my dogs.

I have done some exploring in my hometown in southern Kentucky but I am looking forward to meeting other people in the Lexington area and getting the change to explore around here!

Hello, call me Rex!

I'm not surprised I've found this place. I watched Urban Explorers and then came here. I've always been curious about what goes on behind the scene; abandoned building make me feel a bit like a detective because of that

I also practice parkour, which is uber fun at the abandoned candy factory I live across the street.

Thank you for keeping such an awesome forum going, and keep it up please!

Picked up a camera and started walking. I'm 27, live in Washington. I enjoy Urban Exploring so far, but still new to it. I'm looking forward to learning and exploring more.

Hey everyone,

Long time lurker, decided it was time I make an account. I'm from Seattle, looking to start taking pictures of my adventures. I spend most of my time climbing (a little bit of everything) but love occasional visits below ground.

Hey ... my name's Christian. I'm currently living in Ottawa, Ontario and am mainly interested in hiking, but want to have more of an "objective" to reach when I get out. I don't like just hiking aimlessly. I'm interested in this forum because of places like the Meech Lake Ruins and Morrison's Quarry.

How often to premium members find ruins and places like these in forests? I'm mostly interested in finding places off in the middle of nowhere that I could hike or kayak to (old mines, quarries, old ruins, etc.).

Rad. Then you shall be pumped to be here. Mines and quarries can be some of the most historically interesting areas to explore. I would love to see whats hiding under Berlin..

I'm excited to finally get to make a post!

Hi I'm tombombadom, and have been a lover of photography and UE (just found out there’s a name for what I like a few weeks ago) for quite some time. I'm looking forward to being able to hopefully contribute something here and meeting some fellow explorers.

Hello,

My name's Alex and I live in St Petersburg, FL. I've always been interested in UE, but haven't really had the chance to do any. Sadly, there aren't many abandoned properties around here and when there is one, it's gone quite quickly. I'm looking forward to getting more into UE. (:

Greetings all - new to the site obviously but have been reading and learning much here. Great site.

Most recent adventure was here:
https://maps.googl...=2&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAA
an abandoned hotel built in the shape of a swastika across from the abandoned / empty AT&T complex on Carter road.

Pulled in the front driveway, hotel is all boarded up. Not gated but no trespass signage is up all over. Police were there within a minute and told us to move it. Next approach will be from the northwest to park and hike in through the woods.

Hey everyone. Finally got around to making an account.

I've been doing a little exploring for a few years, mostly with others and especially with my brother, so I know a few people on here.
I've been to Clocktoberfest and Mouser Week a couple times. Since I just moved to the middle of nowhere in farm country, I don't have much to do locally, but I'm keeping my eye open as I travel the country roads.

See some of you around - underground. (or above it in some ruin)

-JT

Hi. My name is Jarec, 25 years old, and currently residing in the Texas Panhandle. I've been exploring for years now though just recently found this site and started exploring the social side of urban exploration. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing as much as I can with everyone and see who all I can meet IRL and on-site.

Hi UEers.

I've been reading up here, and I must admit that I have lurked here for a while. Finally decided to join and post.

I grew up in a small town in central Wisconsin, one of my great memories from then was sneaking up to the roof of a certain mill and exploring for hours, going from level to level/rooftop to rooftop. It was an operating mill and not exactly un-dangerous, but we managed to make it out without getting caught or injured. The landscape and environment being different than Iowa, we also used to climb up on the local fire watch tower, and one of the many local dam power plants.

Hopefully that doesn't give it away, as the Wisconsin River is the hardest working river in the US, in terms dams per mile. So there are a lot of areas this could be. Not far from where I grew up was an abandoned quarry that, if you got up on the top, on a clear day, you could see 9 mills off in the distance. /history-geography geek

Heya, I'm Jae, I'm twenty-one, I live in northern Vermont (only lived here since May, but I fucking love it here!). I've been into the idea of doing this for YEARS. I had the habit of running around the little abandoned tunnels my friends and I found in my old town in Maryland when I was in Middle school and a few years ago I found other friends to go explore places like Henryton and Rosewood with. I fell in love with the sense of adventure. It's like stepping back in time.

Now that I live in Vermont, a few friends I are getting together a small group to start doing some documenting around the area. Freakin' excited about it, too. Been far too long since I've crawled into a little hole only to emerge into something gorgeous and generally untouched~

As for more about me: I'm a gamer, a writer, I work the retail grind, I love music, I go to shows all the time here in Vermont and I'm also a furry... if that matters at all, haha. I also doodle sometimes.

My name is B, I live in Toronto and have always been interested in the leftovers we humans leave when industry packs up and moves on.

I work in sales, and I also make films in my spare time. For years I was an established DJ and electronic music composer but in my "old age" have slowly moved onto less noisy pursuits such as photography and cinematography.

Burgeoning filmmaker, keen photographer, overall gadget nerd, and bad at signatures.
