Well, this was quite the interesting day...
Originally we had 5 models and 3 photographers including Axel, my friend Sam and myself, but on the day of, 2 of the models dropped out last minute. A little disappointed and frustrated, I pressed on, went and picked up the wonderful Melynda then headed off to pick up my cousin who got lost and set me back about an hour or so.
On the way to the location we battle idiotic traffic followed by a crazy down pour that forced weaker drives to pull over. By the time we arrived, the other crew had already ran into the property owners who were working on the place and we given permission to shoot inside the building. The day was beginning to improve! Once I finally got set up and took a few quick pics, the owner came back and told us he was leaving and we had to file out. Day getting worse...
As I'm packing up the car, I ask if the owner if he minds us shooting outside the building for a while. He begins to ponder...
"How long you going to be here?"
"As long as we can"
"Would you bring the key back to me in Toronto when you're done?"
"Ummm, FUCK YA" I was thinking.
He hands over the key, I give him a business card and he shows us how to lock the door.
"Dont go exploring, dont go upstairs, dont sue me if you hurt yourself", he warns.
Jackpot...
