Hello!

I am new to this forum and this is my first experience on any forum whatsoever!

I make Urbex and Rurex recently.

With my lover, we travel the roads looking for interesting and fascinating abandoned places.
We take our Saturday morning to do some research to decide the direction of the exploration of the day!
Sometimes we find THE PLACE looked initially, sometimes not, sometimes better!

I am here to share with you pictures of our findings, and ... admire yours, to keep the passion for exploration on fire!

What's up everyone I'm Nick.
I've been active in UE for a while now, funny thing is I had no idea it actually had a title until a few months ago. Very happy to see there are so many others with the same interests. Well I'm Texan that recently moved to Arkansas, can't wait to find some sites here. Let's see, hmm.. My first site was an abandoned hunting camp I found on accident, I was actually wondering around in some woods long story short got a little misplaced. But the old trailers, buses and shack of a kitchen just amazed me, I was then hooked to find places similar. The hunt then began. Welp looking forward to talking with y'all.

I´m orgullo gringo. I´m a teacher in NW Indiana. I´ve been exploring for a couple of years. I started exploring the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and noticed that there were dozens of abandoned homes. I began going inside these homes and taking pictures and realized that this was becoming an obsession. I also began making frequent trips to Gary. I have been to Gary about 20 times and have been inside almost all of the abandoned schools. I have been exploring in Detroit, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Cincinnati1.

, Pittsburgh and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I want to explore other areas and definitely need to make return trips to Detroit. I will be posting a lot of pictures.

I´m so glad that there is a website for like-minded people. I hope to meet up with other explorers in the Great Lakes region.

I'm Colby from Mobile, Alabama. I've been a lurker on here for a while, but finally decided to start posting. I've always been interested in old an abandoned buildings ever since I was a child, and as I grew up started to research on the internet about urban exploring more and more. I never knew this many people found the same type things fascinating. Hopefully I will be able to get active in the community, as well as find new exploration sites near me.

Hey,

I am T, 26y, french, and I arrived in the bay area 2 years ago.
I am passionated about photography and exploring. I am down to earth, making bad joke and eager to discover new places (specially rooftops).

I lived in Paris and I really enjoyed the Catacomb and the Petite Ceinture (a former railtrack 100y old).

How's everyone doing? I'm Cole (aka Fett), and I just found this site last week browsing the UE subreddit. My buddy Grublord and I are just now getting into urbex, so the timing of me finding this was perfect. I know he's registered and waiting on his 72 hours to finish.

I've always been into exploring stuff, but I've never been good with taking nice photos, so I'm hoping he can do a little better with that end.

We're in the Houston area, so if anyone could point us in the right direction of meetups or easy beginner places, that'd be fantastic.

I'm not 100% on what to put here, I'm not too great with introductions. I guess I'll start with I live in Middle Tennessee and I've always liked exploring. We don't have too much to explore here except for woods, so that's what I'm good at. I've always wanted to do more urban exploring, as I've only done it in a few building overtaken, more or less, by nature. I've got the gear for it, including an old Soviet GP-5, and I've always found a stark beauty in derelict buildings and ghost towns.

Get out of here, Stalker.

Hi! I'm in NorCal and looking to get back into urbex after more than a year hiatus. Mostly I'm into subterranean hikes but I'm definitely open to pretty much any given adventure I get dragged into. Nice to meet everyone!

The catacombs are amazing (as are all the Parisian graveyards). But I never got to see Petite Ceinture. Haven't gotten to go out in the bay area yet though. What have you found?

Thank you for the warm welcome .

So far not that much, I use my lunch break to try to get to rooftop but it is kind of hard. And I have my work clothe (that explains the shoes haha).

Anyway, here is a great shot of the Petite Ceinture (not from me)

Hello, all.

I've been registered here for four years, apparently, without even realizing it. I'm guessing I signed on and then forgot about it during the seven day wait period and never came back til now? I dunno.

ANYWAY. I'm a West Coast Canadian UE-er, and I've been into the trade for a fair while by my standards. I drive for work so I'm always coming across new abandonments or construction projects to check out, and recently I've done a few UE roadtrips across the border to the US of A, as well as a couple up here North of 49.

I'm an avid hiker and photographer on my spare time, and I have a passion for all things nautical and all things historical.

I guess that's all.

For the TL;DR-ers, long story short, HI.

Hey hey howdy everybody. I'm a new guy to the forums here but not to urbex. Been exploring and shooting my hometown the Gem City, Dayton Ohio for about a year and a half now. I got my start doing shoots of abandoned (and left wide open) residences near where I live, lord knows every major city nowadays has them. I got into industrial shoots a bit later but I have a hard time tracking down decent ones since I really don't know any fellow urbexers in my area. Glad to finally find a nice forum like this I can go to and hoping to shoot and share some decent explores of mine once the weather finally warms up here.

Howdy, folks.

I've been a lone wolf for a long time. Recently, I decided that I want to join and contribute to the broader community. So I made a website with some of my photos, and I joined UER.

Here's my site: http://abandonr.tumblr.com Make sure to check out the "about" page so you know what I'm...about.

Looking forward to virtually hanging out with you all in the forums and maybe meeting up with a select few for adventures.

Hi I'm Chris. I'm 30 from RI. I've always had an interest in exploring abandoned places but just found out about "urban exploring" last summer. I've been to some spots in CT, MA, and RI so far.
