| | | Posted by KirbyAQuietTree And I was considering bringing a clipboard or something and just acting like I belonged and hopefully no one will care enough that I'm there.
| Why does everybody thinks that a clipboard makes you look you belong there? Most GIS systems are on a tablet or cellphone or such. Like said before make yourself look like you belong there. I for example have a amber flashing light in my vehicle, it's professional one, and when parked on the side of a highway, people change lanes for me in Texas as they follow a law saying that you have to change lanes for certain vehicles when having red, blue or amber flashing lights on. Also, traffic cones can work wonders. Even PD doesn't check on me when I have the light on and three cones behind my vehicle. So a clipboard doesn't make you look like you belong there, it actually make you look weird.
