I read on a reddit forum a tip for trespassing is to wear one of those orange/yellow construction vests when on a site, to make it look like you belong there. I thought this was a great idea, especially if getting to a location involves high visibility. For example, on one trip, we had to walk about a mile down a fairly busy road toward the building. Lots of people drove past, lots of people saw us but there was really no other way to get to the building other than walking. Has anybody tried a disguise like this when you are forced to be visible for part of the trip?

I dress up like a cop that's going into the building looking for trespassers.

I just don't worry about it. Makes you easier to notice..
I can see one coming in handy for construction sites, though.

I saw those construction winter jackets on sale at Costco and was tempted to buy one but they dont come in Skye-Size. I think a little girl in a huge jacket would look more suspicious.

I had access to a bunch of these when I was volunteering at a robotics competition this past December. I should have grabbed a few because at the end they just tossed them in the trash

I've only had the balls to do this once and it was because there literally weren't any no trespassing signs and every single door was wide open

It's a good idea to have these, in theory...

That said, I've never needed 'em.

I have actually done the yellow vest thing on more than one occasion. If you have a hard-hat handy it helps. If you want to go all out, add the clipboard of power. People with clipboards get asked no questions.

Sometimes I hollow out the inside of a large potted plant or use a flipped over garbage can and scoot closer and closer to my point of entry .
