Hello fellow explorers!

I'm Jason, and I'm somewhat new to the activity, aside from a small history of trespassing in my youth. I'm mostly into this activity for the photography now, going places that other professional photographers may not go. I love the notion of documenting buildings and history that will soon be gone forever. I hope to discover more of these artifacts with you all!

Howdy ya'll! Guess I'll make my first post on this side of the forums! The name's goat, I've been exploring on and off for the past couple years but am finally more interested in pursuing the hobby seriously. Didn't know a place like this existed before so I'm very eager to contribute, share, and make new experiences with others of the same interests. Baltimore area is where I'm around, like to meet anyone in the area!

Yo.

I'm new to this site & relatively new to urban exploring in general, but find it really fascinating. I live in the boring part of the CA bay area, but am trying to check out anything I can find in the area.

My main preference is definitely rooftops, preferably tall ones, but I still really enjoy abandoned towns/buildings and ruins and such. If anyone sees this and is in the same general area, hit me up. I'm down to go exploring with new people.

Hello, new to this forum, been exploring for a few years now. I recently moved to the Minneapolis/St.Paul area.. I would LOVE to connect with other explorers around here. Currently, I mainly use the Action Squad website as a means to get ideas of places to check out around here. So far I have thoroughly explored the tunnels under St. Anthony, as well as made the crawl through the "Hellcrack" and the long, exhausting trek through the mud tunnels that followed.

The next place on my list is Satan's Cave. I found an entry point (manhole), and would greatly appreciate having someone who knows their way around down there along for the trip.

I also found an access point to what may turn out to be an entrance to an extensive tunnel system under St. Paul. If you are interested in joining me and a couple buddies, we may be able to have you join us.

I look forward to being a part of this site, please feel free to message me any time if you are looking to meet/explore or just talk about the area.

Hello All!
I'm Mandy, and I'm new here! I'm from Minnesota, around the MSP area. I've just recently been introduced to urban exploring through a friend of a friend. Was able to go explore a few caves around St. Paul, and I really enjoyed it. I would love to connect with people in my area with a similar love for this adventuring and experience! Any advice is much appreciated! Have a great Halloween everyone!

Love with an open heart, promote tolerance, and grow with each new experience.

Hi! I proudly hail from the coal region - northeastern PA to be exact. In addition to exploring, I'm a huge cemetery and history nut. Oh. And I like baking. And crafts.

Hey everybody. I've been into old buildings for years, and I've crept around in a few of them, but never really pursued this as a hobby until very recently. I'm originally from Portland, OR, but recently moved to Syracuse, NY. No offense to any 'Cuse natives, but I'm glad there's so many cool old buildings around because I'm bored out of my mind here otherwise.

I've done some exterior-only visits to quite a few places in the area and really want to get inside a couple in particular in the near future. I'd also be totally interested in meeting up with other people in the area and doing some exploring (I'd love to get over to Rochester soon, both for buildings and just to visit and see the city). Hit me up if you're around the finger lakes or anywhere else in the area (Watertown or Oswego, too!). One thing I never thought to do before was take photos of any buildings I went in, but I hope to start bringing the camera along and having something to share.

Thanks for reading!

Hello, I'm Ninja_kebab. I'm living in the northern corner of South Carolina, with hopes to move into the Northeast corner of the country sometime in the future.

I'm studying photography, and I'm pretty new to urban exploration; but I've loved the few places I've explored. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Heya everyone. I'm Kit, new to UER. Looking forward to being part of a community. (kind of, I completely suck at it but I try.) Looking for new places to explore on the weekends and get better with my camera. I've always been a fan of the forgotten, "if these walls could talk." and all. =]

Hi, My name is Mike.

I live in the Bronx sometimes and Queens sometimes and in my van sometimes.

I have explored things in the past, like the steam tunnels and the clock tower when I was an undergrad at my college in the Bronx, a tunnel on the West Side, the high-line before it was a park, and some islands between Rikers and the Bronx where you can find some nice abandoned buildings and Xrays of old TB patients, some creepy abandoned floors in an old mansion in the South Bronx, an abandoned subway station in Brooklyn, and some other abandoned bunkers and structures throughout the city and the world. I also explored the catacombs under paris with some friends a few years back, and had my maps burned up by some crazy cataphiles who bricked up our exits and ran away giggling.

I am here because I want to find some other New Yorkers who like to explore things, and maybe some people who know a bit about exploring storm drains without getting killed.

Ill attach a few old pictures of some explorations... I don't usually bring my camera along with me but I'm sure I can dig up some more pictures somewhere to post on here... It's been a while since I've seen a new place and I'd love to meet some people who have some spots they'd like to share.

Hey Everyone. I'm now an Edmonton Explorer. Looking for a crew to go explore with, mainly drains but would do buildings as well.

I got into uea in 2007 checking out a mine for the first time. It had a guest log book at the end of it and uea cards. Contacted the boys and got started. Mainly mines from 2007 to 2012 and then started drains. I'll try and get a mine thread going, been to a few. In 2009 I almost quit mines as could not find many but know there is not enough time to see them all. Once you know where to look there is a ton of info.

Also any tips on doing better pics would be appreciated.

Hello UER community,
My name is Todd, and I am from and currently live in Wisconsin. I have recently been introduced to the UE community and hobby/activity, and I am excited to pursue this interest. I am eager to learn more about the philosophies of the variety of explorers here, and I am looking forward to contributing my experiences to this community. I have been on a few explorations recently with the guidance of my good friend Relik. I have him to thank for introducing me to this whole thing.

Aside from UE, I love exploring nature, hiking, and camping as well. However, my biggest passion is music, which I am finally committing to pursue with serious intentions.

I am looking forward to getting to know you all.

Thank you for the accepting me into this community!

Hello everyone,

Just moved to London recently and I've become interested in UE around the same time. I've done some very minor exploration myself in the past and am always interested in odd little places off the beaten track.

I'm particularly interested in underground sites and infiltrations (London seems to be particularly good for these from what I've read).

One thing that I've been asking around about is how do people find others to explore with? I know a couple of people who are vaguely interested, but none of us really have the relevant skills or experience. I'm really looking for any advice on how to find other people who might be more experienced or even an offer to come along with some people if anyone's around London!

Any comments or advice about this, or just anything you'd like to tell a new explorer would be greatly appreciated

Hi everyone, my name is Daniel, and I hope to contribute to these forums as much as possible and to hopefully provide more content here. I live in the little of Monument, Colorado, and I love to travel and explore new places. I'm history nerd, which i guess is an addendum to why I like to explore, and I enjoy obscure old music, i'm mostly into progressive and punk rock, and grunge. I also enjoy reading, and my favorite book has to be 1984, until something better comes along, that is.

Hey guys! I'm a photographer in the Chicago area who enjoys photographing things that time and people seem to have forgotten. I got my start in UE when I was a little child, probably no more than 6 or 7, and I would break into construction sites with my friends and play hide and seek. Looking back, that probably wasn't the safest place for a 6 year old, but oh well, I lived. Definitely looking to meet some cool people in my area so I can make new friends and exploring buddies.
