Hi, I'm Greg and I've been doing Urban Exploration for about a year now in Ontario. I started last year when I was on vacation in British Columbia, and found an abandoned bomb shelter, then continued looking for abandoned structures to explore with my friends in my hometown.

Howdy everyone, glad to finally be posting here. Been lurking on the forum and poking around local and publically viewable places for a little bit, however I figured it was about time I stepped my game up and started sharing pictures and info with others.
I currently live in Bristol CT as a student which has some interesting places, so hopefully I have some interesting locations to share fairly soon.

On that note though I should ask, is there any particular etiquette regarding posting pictures of locations that are not publically viewable?

Hello, I'm Alex and I'm from the Capital Region of New York. I've been exploring for a long time now (you know, one of those kids who always had to be where they didn't belong), but I've inly been doing it seriously for a few months. So far, I've been to the Overlook Hotel and the Cornish Estate which are in state parks, the abandoned military spaces at Fort Stevens, and in lots of abandoned and semi abandoned places in and around the Naval Dockyard area in Bermuda. Oh, and the cops chased me out of Grossinger's resort. How embarrassing!

The name's Geo, currently living in Metro-Detroit, Michigan. So far I've only begun to touch the surface of the urbex hobby but I've done some neat things in that little timeframe. I've been inside the Pontiac Silverdome and a Nike missile base near Flat Rock. Chased out of Trenton by the police for trying to check out a nearby industrial site (we goofed hard). Looking to meet up with people and contribute to the site as our experience and confidence grows.

I've got a dedicated crew of people who trust me to get things right when it comes to this stuff, and I'm an utter newbie to all of it. I hope that there are a few of you guys out there in the Great Lakes region that can help us get into more interesting sites and toss us some wisdom along the way.

What's up everybody! New to the community, but not to exploring. I grew up exploring the woods and geocaching with my dad and sister, and now I'm breaking into (pardon the pun) the UrbEx community.

I'm from Montana, but I'm stuck in upstate New York for... contractual reasons. My job makes me a bit of a security freak, and I love coming up with counter-security measures. I like to think of it as professional development!

Anyway, if anyone is in the Watertown/Syracuse area, I'd love to meet up and do some exploring. I don't necessarily have a dedicated group of people to explore with, and someone with a knowledge of the area would be great!

Hello everyone!

My name is Eugene and I've acquired the interest in Urban Exploration about a year ago. Where I come from, there isn't a lot of locations to explore. I'm hoping that this forum will help me discover new places in the future.

I live in the town of Northampton in Western Massachusetts. I was born and raised there for my entire life so far by my Mother and Father who are survivors of Cambodian genocide. They've helped me accomplish so many things from learning how to ride a bike to solving a Rubik's Cube.

I enjoy Urban Exploration mainly because I get to see things that the average person might not be able to see. You soon get a good idea that there's so much more to explore. Secondly I have a growing passion for photography so documenting my journeys is quite fun.

I hope I can meet new people here at UER.CA and hopefully explore with some members of the community.

Howdy. New to the forum and new to UE in general. I've spent a lot of time photographing old buildings and old farms/barns, but never thought to venture inside. I just spent last weekend cruising the closest large downtown area and actually found an accessible building. I poked around and took some photos, but there is more of the building to explore. Afterwards, I did some research on the place which added to the charm, so now I think I'm hooked.

I live in the Rockford, IL area and would like to meet some folks nearby or just tag along to learn a bit more. Not to mention, the safety factor. Most of the old buildings in Rockford are in a particularly unsavory neighborhood, making solo exploration a bit unsafe...even for a 6' 4", 220 lb. former Marine with CCW license.

In any case, I will likely revisit the aforementioned building soon. I'd prefer to do so in a group.

Hello everyone. My name is Chris. I am new to the exploring game but have seen quite a few places. I will be posting pictures soon. I am near Atlanta. And most of the places I have seen are in the city. Hope to meet some cool people and be out exploring new places very soon.

Hello!
I'm a Bay Area college student and I've been interested in urban exploration since High School but have only recently been able to do some exploring of my own. I've been lurking for a while but I figure it's probably time to join the community. I look forward to meeting new people! = )

Hey everyone, my name is Santiago, and I'm 17, soon to be 18. I moved to Houston last summer after having lived in Europe my entire life, and I've recently been wanting to get into UrbEx and see what there is to see in the Houston area. If you live in Houston and want to chill, hit me up. I'm hoping to meet some new people and see some cool places during my time here

Hey guys, I'm from the northern suburbs of Indianapolis. I always had an interest in exploring, even as a little kid. I remember riding by an abandoned factory in my Mom's minivan and wanting to see what it was like inside. I even considered riding my bike alone at the age of like 10 for 5 hours to go see it. Luckily I saved everyone the amber alert panic. A few months ago I finally got in and I wasn't disappointed.

I've visited a few local places both active and not, all of them amazing. I have a small group of friends that I do this with, all of them amazing as well. All I have is a phone camera, but I plan to post plenty of pictures in due time.

This seems like a great community and I'm happy to be a part of it. Someone should make some UER hoodies or something. That'd be sick. Thanks guys.
