Over the weekend I took a trip up to South Manitou Island in Lake Michigan. I had originally intended to go to North Manitou, but I had to shorten my trip by a day, and the ferry operator wouldn't let me come back a day early, so I took a day trip to South. I also spent the previous night at Leelanau State Park, at the tip of the pinkie in Michigan.
