Hi, everyone! I'm new to urban exploring in general. Recently went on my first excursion with some of you fine folks - that was a lot of fun! I have a feeling that I'll be sticking around if you'll have me, and that this hobby is one that I'll engage in for years to come.

I like poetry, knives, old (traditional & video) games from the 70's to 90's and natural medicinal herbs.

Security is important to me both as an interest and as a practical matter. I will likely post a picture or two from excursions in my time here, though they will not include any faces, be they my own or those of other explorers.

Thanks for the great experience so far, I hope to eventually become as much a part of the Toronto urbex community as you awesome folks!

Hello from the north Pittsburgh area. My name isn't Clint I just like Clint Eastwood and that's what I named my truck. Yes I actually did do that. I'm a full time college student currently commuting to a penn state branch campus. My primary hobby is cars and racing. Drag racing specifically with old cars. I have always been interested in history and old things. I have always been into cars. Old cars were pretty much destined to find me. I always wonder when building were built what they used to be no matter where I go.

Most of the abandoned things around me that I know of are really old. Like 1800s blast furnaces. Things like that. The garage I work on my cars in used to be part of a trucking company. There's calendars hanging in the attic from the 60s with ads from local businesses. I've found pictures of guys working on trucks in that same garage back in the 60s/70s. It's cool to think the long nights and busted knuckles have been taking place in that garage for almost 100 years. I'm glad to be a page in history.

Someday I hope to be a full member and meet other members in my area. I've found some cool places I'd like to share but not too sure how I do that yet. If any of you reading this are from the Pittsburgh area shoot me a message!

Getting to this a little late, butttt new to UER, not too new to exploring. Residing in Wisconsin currently. I enjoy history a lot therefore learning about the buildings I've seen is alway exciting for me. Not much of a photographer, but i do try once in awhile. I really just like strolling through abandonments and seeing whats left behind and wondering why. I'm excited to meet new people and see new places!

Hey kool kids! My name is Branson and I live about an hour east of Cincinnati, in a small little town whose name isn't worth mentioning. I'm here to fuel my passion of exploring and capturing the places that others forget. There is simply no denying the absolute beauty of the derelict, abandoned and forgotten places that were once important aspects of peoples lives, centers of joy and/or tragedy. The atmosphere alone is worth it, not the mention the adventurous aspect of exploring places that people pass everyday without a second thought, or places hidden far away from the public eye. In short, I'm excited to get started.

hey my name is chloe from winnipeg, manitoba. i recently developed an interest in urban exploration because of photography. i adore 35mm film and have a photography blog thats generating consistent and steady interest. i love to be able to document desolate places before they get demolished. it's so eerie thinking about all the memories that could've taken place there and seeing remnants of the past before they get destroyed. i also love contrasting post abandonment with abandonment! its cool to have some concrete memories that happened there. anyway hit me up if you live in manitoba and know of any cool places to explore. <3

Hi my name is Alex and I'm from Denver. I've only just began urban exploring but I've been fascinated with it for several years. While I'm much more of a painter and drawer I've been attempting to learn and do more photography. I collect and sometimes shoot with analog cameras but most of the time I use my phone or my point and shoot. I love not only the beauty of abandoned places but the history and eeriness. I haven't done much urban exploration, only a factory and a couple of drains near me but I'm looking forward to finding out what else Colorado has to offer. I'd love to meet some new people and explore some new places!

Hey guys, I'm Raymond. I come from Silicon Valley and I currently live on the Peninsula. I started exploring very recently with some friends, and we didn't really know it was called "urban exploration" until recently. I enjoy computers and tech, and my favorite pastime of all is cooking. Thanks for having me!

HELLO! I'm Leo and I live in the Bay Area, about one hour's drive from San Francisco. Sadly, thanks to Google dominating the area and re purposing all the old buildings, there is not much to explore here. So, I came to this site to potentially find some places that are not occupied for some good ol' fashioned trespassing! What is this color thing?

Young urban explorer from Melbourne, Australia. Been into urbex for about 15 months now. Mostly explore drains though never pass up the chance for a good abandonment. Starting to get into rooftops. Have started to get more into the photography side of urbex lately and picked myself up a Nikon D3200 to take some better shots. Hope to share some with you all shortly.
Cheers, Echo.

Hello everyone! Somewhat long time lurker, first time poster. I've been exploring abandoned places for about 5 years now, and i've been to quite a few around the GTA and Southern Ontario area (almost 30 I think?), but i'm always looking to explore some more. I'm very active on another Ontario based abandoned place website, but i'm spreading out to this one too! I'm a university student currently doing a BA in History, focusing on post revolutionary Cuba. I'd love to get to know some other Southern Ontario explorers through here, and read about some of their experiences.

Hello, all! I have been visiting this website for years, but I am a rookie. I am a 61-year grandmother of 4 who adores heavy metal and urban exploring. I always thought I was weird because I would hyperventilate whenever I saw abandoned railroad tracks, buildings, drains, homes, etc., and couldn't rest until I started poking around. I am still proud of the fact that I was able to get into our local amphitheater a week after it closed - that was fantastic and I spent the WHOLE DAY there. I am hoping my grandchildren have inherited my love of trespassing - I take them on some of the milder sites (abandoned roads in a state park, for instance). Anyway, if I seem computer stupid it's because I am, but Blackhawk was kind enough to give me a gentle push in the right direction. My urban exploration is somewhat limited now since I have been diagnosed with cancer, so I am really having a GREAT time looking at all the photos on this site. I am not a lurker - just someone who loves urban exploration (thanks to Ninjalicious I discovered UE websites existed) so if I am irritating anyone please, please let me know - thanks all, and keep up the great photography! I believe nel58 might be close to my age, so here's a shout out to her.
