Posted by Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park For some reason the owner, Karl Ruehle, shut the business down. The rumour is that it was not making enough money. But it is also possible that he got tired of the business as he got older. Running a campground/nudist park is a lot of work. He then continued to live there as his private residence until death in 2006. His heirs tried to sell the property but did not succeed. There's no value in the existing infrastructure. None of them are working and are almost certainly not up to current standards. Furthermore, I suspect that all those buildings are a liability. So you would be better off buying empty land.

Interesting...the few resorts I can think of out west here are members co-ops so they have been around for a while. The ones I can think of that have disappeared had some scandal where the founding members apparently were doing some slightly illegal perverted things on the side...
