Hello I'm brandon and I've been exploring with my partner for about a month now. We live in the Northeast area of Ohio and I'm excited to talk to everyone here on UER. I prefer exploring abandoned buildings that do not include climbing fences to get into. If I were to meet up with anyone I would like to meet before hand and get to know you. Any advice for the future would be great.

Thank You.

Welcome to the forums Brandon! I spent a lot of my childhood up in northeast Ohio actually, I'm pretty familiar in that area ((somewhat)) Hope you enjoy your time here

Hey guys, made an account a while ago but just got around to posting recently! My name is Ben, living in Colorado. I've been fascinated by abandoned buildings for as long as I can remember. Hoping to meet some other people with similar interests, and go on some crazy adventures along the way! I also love photography, and would love advice from you all for improving that as well.

Hello everyone! I've been using this resource for a while, but just recently created my own account. I've been getting into photography over the past year, and now I feel have something to contribute.

Grew up in Colorado, but recently moved to San Antonio and want to start exploring here. New to town and looking for someone to explore with.

Here's some of my favorites:

Hey everyone! My name is Carson and I'm fairly new to the community. I've been urban exploring on my own with my friends in some abandoned hospitals and places like that but never knew about the community attached to it. Very excited to meet and go exploring with some new people and find some new awesome locations. I like going places abandoned and have interest in craning, draining and rooftops.

What's up, fellow explorers?

I'm Andrew, SoCal native going to school in northern Indiana. I've been lurking the site for ~3 years but finally got around to making an account. Haven't done much in Indiana, but I hope to tap into that sweet rust-belt industrial decay when I get back!

Getting back into urbex after a ~1 year hiatus, and currently looking for more sites near me in California and Indiana. Hit me up if you want to chat!

Though I'm definitely not a photographer, below are some photos I've taken.

Greetings, community! I am a recent transplant to the Twin Cities and have roots in the southern Midwest. I've been exploring for a couple decades now, mostly in rural areas. While I'm interested in discovering new places around town, I'm even more passionate about cartography. If you know of any good maps that need georeferenced, please send them my way! In particular, I'm trying to collect all of the known cave and sewer maps from this area. Internet archive searches and public data requests have yielded several of these, but I'm certain there are more out there yet. Feel free to PM me if you want to talk about maps and caves!

Hi! I'm Maddie! I'm from Atlanta and hung around Prison Farm a lot in high school but didn't really start exploring until I was like nineteen. I'm twenty two now and most of my orignal team has scattered to the winds, so I'm really interested in getting to know more explorers in my area and also in surrounding states because I travel a lot! I've also just made the decision to start documenting my urbex journeys with photography and am excited to develop skill in that area. I used to be all about just going for the experience, but now so many of my favorite places are gone or gutted and I regret not being able to show people what they used to look like.

I've been kinda lurking the forums for a little while but am really excited to start participating!

(edit: for pictures, i just posted my first thread in the southeastern forum and my goal is to take more every time i go to a different place in decent weather, so there should be more to come!)

Hi, I'm Edward. I grew up on Oahu, but I'm moving to Seattle soon for college. I recently learned of this hobby called "Urban Exploration" because of my fascination with cities, urbanization, and cyberpunk. I love visiting new cities, but I always visit pre-defined bubbles where people are allowed to visit. Urbex shows an alternative to that mindset. Instead of visiting the new and shiny, why not visit the old and abandoned? I think that's a pretty damn cool concept.

Hi all, I'm Shay. I'm 22 and I live in Florida. I've been exploring for about four years now, but always with other people who knew where to go. I've been some amazing places, but I'm just now challenging myself to find new spots on my own. I'm hoping to get to know you all and soak up all your exploring wisdom!

Hi everyone! Im 24 living in Ontario. Ive always been a huge fan of URBEX but have just recently come across this website. Abandoned houses and residential buildings are always amazing to see. Something about finding a house with the home owners belongings still intact never fails to send a shiver down my spine. That being said, the places I crave and always seek out are factories. Seeing old machinery always blows my mind, almost like stepping into a time machine and seeing how things used to work and look always has me awestruck.

Very happy to be here, and as always

KEEP EXPLORING

Always creeping
Always searching
Always URBEX

Hey all! I'm just now (officially at least) getting into urbex as a hobby, though I've loved seeing pictures from it and the idea of exploring for ages now. Actually really jealous of some friends of mine who got to check out the Ladd School here in RI before it was demolished ;u;
I do parkour as well so I have a good level of skill in vertical and generally sketchy navigation on things~ (I've been atop the Crook Point train bridge, it's beautiful!)
I plan on becoming active and working my way up to being a full member, because this is something I absolutely love and I have a great camera setup for it

Other than that, I'm furry trash, a student at URI with plans to go into game design, and generally up later than I should be. woop!

Attaching a few shots I've gotten~

Pawtucket Central Falls Train Station

Fort Wetherall

Kelley Hall in the process of demolition at URI

hi,

my name is rosalie and i am new to exploring and UER in general. ever since i was young i've had a fascination with abandoned houses with items left behind. recently, i've been into exploring 'haunted' places with my friends and then stumbled upon urban exploring. i live in manitoba and so far have come across some very interesting places, and have some pretty interesting stories about my encounters. i have yet to explore the insides of any abandoned buildings, only the outside. i'd love to chat more and share stories and pictures. i myself have not taken any pictures yet, but will definitely be sure to on my next adventure.
