And on this day, the importance of a camera light was learned.
Great meeting those that came out- it was lovely wandering through asbestos-filled hallways and sharing the same air riddled with a mixture of wild animal urine and god knows what else with you guys.
Just when I thought the adventurous part of the day had ended, fluffy_bunnies and I decided to take one more quick exploration detour before heading home. It was there where we came upon this little gem of a set-up in one house that seemed to creaked with every step we took.
More photos on flickr if interested! Thanks fluffy_bunnies for being an awesome tour guide and chronular for being our eyes in the dark. Until next time.

Ahhh, I'm actually so sad that I missed the meetup this month, that manga shrine looks absolutely wild. Some of the series' in those boxes have been out of print for years--any idea when this place was abandoned?
That reminds me I should probably get around to posting the photos from my first meetup from months ago...

Posted by TrashPanther Wow. What a cool find. All those comic books...
I know right? It's in a super public spot too- such a hidden gem. And there were way more than that! A huge waste

Me too!! There's always next time!
I want to say it's been abandoned for ~half a year or so, I completely forgot but it was very recent! Hopefully it will still be accessible for the next meet up and you can check it out yourself

Thanks for posting the pictures! Ah, I love me a good manga shrine. My terrible vision and I echo the thanks to chronular.
It was my pleasure, though, I'm happy to be the conduit for intriguing illegality!
And that's true, muiy0, most of the units in the Mirvish Village were abandoned November-December 2016... Fleeting, am I talkin' out my ass on that one, or am I at least somewhat close to the facts? I imagine you'd know for sure.

Hey! Welcome!
It's actually pretty laissez-faire, not terribly organized, but when we actually show up on time, we get some good 'splorins done!
Kinda kidding. Kinda.
Anyway, the meetups are pretty fun overall, especially when we share locations!
