Big news at the cookie factory

Big ass write up to follow (I'm pretty fucking high rn)

Pictures are here: https://imgur.com/a/5U7f4

Upon arriving to the cookie factory we immediately noticed something was off. The factory normally has lights visible through all the windows however this time the whole building was completely black.

Power seems to be completely shut off in he building.

Once we got in we noticed large diesel generators hooked up to large portable lights and various pieces of work equipment.

They started to rip the floor up and various walls had been torn down. Strangely enough we noticed a brand new metal structure in the warehouse that was not there the past dozen or so times I went.

As we continued to look around the complete darkness scared us a little, as a matter of fact it scared the security guard also. He wasn't even in the building, as he waiting in his car in the front. We ended up opening a loading door and booking it to safety outside of the factory fences.

If you want to see this amazing site I recommend you go as soon as possible, I have no idea what they have planned for the future.

I took some photos as best I could on an iPhone in a pitch black factory, they're attached in the Imgur link up top.

Nah, when it comes to renos that involve demolition, the crews don't tend to care much about security until they get to the building aspect of the development.
The province has a vested interested in maintaining that lot as an industrial zone, so they may be doing some renovation on the building for their use, or to lease it off as another industrial factory-type use.

One day I got a good camera.

Um, no. When there is new expensive equipment on site they have security for a very good reason. I haven't seen anything happening there for over a year and half!

According to a post at urbantoronto, they are demolishing the warehouse...

I went by recently and saw a few bobcats and lots of skyjacks on site.

West end hasn't changed much since my first visit in 2016. There are a few spots with orange tarps where I assume they are doing asbestos abatement. The ovens are still there.

Could be wrong but I think they also ripped up the floor in the west end
