Hello everyone,
Very excited to share my first post here. A friend and I went out to the
Valley of the Dawn Bridge (Anyone from the area will probably know what this is but as per the guidelines I'll keep the name obscure) for our first time out exploring.
I'm not a photographer but being a graphic designer helps clean up the photography as best I can. It seems like kids play on this bridge as the fence that was intended to keep people off it has been cut and there's chalk drawings scattered around.
The Bridge has been around almost a century now and it's been abandoned for about half of that. A little self indulgence but it always blows my mind to see structures like this. It predates anyone I know who's currently alive, and even then, the workers, (who would've been atleast teenagers) who constructed this are definitely all gone, yet it still stands.
The sealed bridge next to it is used to route gas lines and is locked up tight.
