Hi there !

I'm from Montreal, Canada. I've been doing Urbex since 5-6 years in France before coming to Canada recently.
I'm half an urbexer, half a photographer, I enjoy doing both. I can explore without doing any photos or do photos without exploring depending the places I visit. In Urbex I do trust the motto take only pictures leave only footprints.

My very first exploration was the Metro SK in Paris. An amazing exploration that gave me the vibe of continuing urbex and doing researches of abandoned places.

My thing is doing 360 photography, I love it when it's immersive. I have some (good ?) shots in Montreal and in Paris I will publish over the time. Here is an example : https://roundme.com/tour/550083
I guess I'll post some 360 photos on my soon to be Instagram and on this forum if you want to.

From now I had the opportunity to explore some nice places in Montreal with nice people and I'm constantly searching new people to meet and explore with.

See you next time

Hi there everyone! My name is Joey and I'm trying to start exploring places around my city of winnipeg. The only issue right now is all the undemolished places are hidden to me. Is there any way I can view them so I can start my own adventures? Thanks!

You can't. The inability to delete posts or edit them after 24 hours is designed to make everybody stand by what they say.

Nope, that's by design. Only users who have earned enough trust to be granted full membership can see the non demolished locations. You can find out how to become a full member here.

Hey y,all!
Made an account a few years back but i forgot my login so here I am again. A wise man once said " I been in this game for years." I'm living in Ohio (Cleveland area) right now, but I've explored all over.

My main interests when I explore a place are to get a better perspective on history and take some cool photos. Holler at me if you're in the area, I know most of the mainstream spots, but I'm always looking for new ones.

Hello all!

I recently discovered that this community existed and wanted to join in!
I have been on and off exploring for ~2 years, but nowhere as cool as some of the places I see on here.
I'm hoping to take it to the next level and find some really nice spots, even if I don't have the best camera

Hey! I'm Sophie.

I've been interested in urbex for years, but didn't really pay attention to uer.ca until recently as a resource. I'm a student at UW-Madison and have, as such, mostly been exploring campus buildings recently.

I'm bored right now because in-person classes are shut down, so I decided to finally check out uer.ca. I'm interested in doing off-campus exploration, as well as sharing stuff I know about UW facilities/physplant and learning more about the urbex scene in the Midwest!

I have a bad habit of not taking pictures on the trips I've made; I'll be making an attempt to take more because there's some pretty incredible locations on campus and in Madison. It always surprises me how things can be hidden in plain sight in high traffic areas, and remain relatively undisturbed.

The experience is what matters! (And safety too lol). Keep working hard, research and you'll find your holy grail one day. And if you can take pics, we all love to share that experience with you.

Hello everyone, my name is Ben and I'm very excited to delve into the realm of urbex. I am 18 years old, and some of you might be thinking I should be doing other stuff than spend my time in abandon buildings, or at least that's what my parents tell me haha. I'm agile since I try to stay active and outside in my youth, I also have wayyyy too much free time on my hands. I find this a perfect combo for exploration. And I guess I've always had the heart for it too. I live in South Carolina and when I was about 12 or something, I started to notice this very run down property that my mom drove by on the way to school. I thought it would be absolutely amazing to explore it, unfortunately the city demolished it sometime before this passion of mine really kicked off. Whenever it was still around though, I would get inspired and start researching abandoned and urbex videos on youtube. That's where it all began, the rest is history. I never really acted on this passion until last summer when I got a small group of my close friends to go exploring with me. I made sure that they knew not to take or damage anything (I was very familiar with the etiquette of urbex at this point). As soon as we completed that first exploration, i was already addicted. I've been to maybe 20+ places so far, some as big as factories or schools, and some as small as a house in the forest. Nonetheless I found a new hobby, but unfortunately, finding new locations has been quite rough since I've already exhausted all avenues to find them. Now I spend a few hours a week looking through Google Maps or just aimlessly driving around, but the more places I find, the more sparse they seem to be. But I am determined and won't quit because I know that there are so many buildings left to find, I just have to look in the right places. Well that's my backstory and im sure the majority of you guys have heard very similar ones before. so if you've read this far, thanks for reading! I hope to become a very active member on this forum and hopefully meet up with a few of you to go exploring. I wish I found out about this forum earlier but I'm happy to be here now. Have fun exploring guys !

Hey,

I've been at this game for a while. Started when I was 13 and have been exploring stuff ever since. I've been in drainage tunnels, abandoned and vacant buildings and on top of several radio transmission towers both active and deactivated. I actually have more experience free climbing thousands of feet up into the air than I do being underground so that's something. I would have joined a forum like this sooner but didn't even know such a thing existed. as dumb as it may sound I actually posted the lot of my photos to Facebook (friends only setting of course). I have a lot of photo documentation. over the years I lost quite a bit of it to destroyed phones and hard drive corruptions but I try my best to recoup what I can and nowadays I've been smart enough not to stash all my eggs in one basket. I primarily travel via bicycle and have been known to travel 100 miles at a time to get to a certain destination (If my lazy ass is feeling up to it). my other hobbies include collecting lighting equipment (my name is a hint on that) and music.

also why is the picture upload limit so darn small.... 100k? most of my pictures are like 3 to 6mb...

Hello! I'm Storm, an urban explorer and photographer from B.C. Canada. I discovered urban exploration in 2018 with a friend when we went to explore the remains of an abandoned childhood attraction we had both grown up with, and ended up falling in love with it. I only just discovered the dedicated community for UE and this forum, and I'm really excited to meet others who share this passion.

Currently my favourite place to have explored was the remains of a large community garden attraction that was closed about ten years ago. It's beautiful and there are always new corners to explore.

Hello! My name is Syn, I live in Texas and I am new to this site. I remember always having the nerve and thirst to explore ever since I was young. I recall a memory of how I once repelled down the side of a 12ft waterfall, which so happened to be near my neighborhood, via the use of a homemade climbing rope (which was actually a converted jump rope) that I tied to a metal stick (which was part of a small security fence to keep people from doing exactly what I was doing) as my extremely protesting brother spotted me at my behest. Later that day, he had said that this little excursion was dangerous, and all though I agreed, I remember telling him verbatim, "You can't quench my thirst for adventure," with a straight face as an 8 year old!

Well, I was right about myself even then, my thirst hasn't been quenched and now, as an adult I have even more tools to actually accomplish my drive to explore!

Howdy folks! I’ve had an account on here for awhile, but just got too busy to ever really start exploring so never bothered. But I found my first spot the other day and it was awesome! Can definitley say I’ve caught the bug. Unfortunately wasn’t able to get into the place. Anyway, I’m a photographer and a historian, so this seems right up my alley. Im in the Rhode Island/Massachusetts area (aka new england). Plenty of mills and stuff. Alright yall, happy and exploring and stay healthy in this covid garbage!

Hello! I'm an explorer from Minnesota. Started exploring about a year ago, and am trying to check out all the spots I can in the twin cities. Buildings are cool, but I really like the underground. So far I've really enjoyed reading through the threads on here. I hope to contribute, even though every spot I've done so far has probably been posted several times.
