What reasons are some sites available to the public and others classified as full member? I understand protecting the sites fully, but what sort of things make the difference between the classification of these two types of sites?

The person who creates the DB entry makes that decision.

When a location is marked Demolished, it automatically becomes publicly viewable.

I make locations public if they are demolished or they want you to visit. For instance, one was an eviction site that had a sit-in protest in one building and held concerts.

After several people have been prosecuted for showing off locations online, I made most of the locations I post here FM only to protect me not those sites.

There is still some degree of privacy and anonymity on UER

1. its Canadian and I only post sites in the U.S.

2. I trust the site owner not to divulge my identity

3. the FM system keeps a lot. not all but a large number of unwelcome eyes off my content

I don't need likes or followers so I steer clear of social media like Fakebook and Instagrunt .

Don't let it bother you. It doesn't bother me. I'm lone wolf and don't need a silly title to make me feel like an adventurer. If the site wants to add new abandoned places to it's depleted listing then a mod can ask me for it but don't go out of your way for anyone for a little badge lol

Now get out there and explore 😏

I'm a lone explorer because I hate people.
