| | | Howdy there, I just joined the board, didn't even know it existed. So I'm just gonna go right ahead and start asking stupid questions now : D Ok so I got a Powerbook G4 from my College, and it came with TONNES of stuff, FANTASTIC stuff, and I have since loaded it to the brim with all my favourite software and some interesting new stuff as well. the one thing i'm missing though is Garageband. The thing came with the ilife bundle, EXCEPT they didn't load Garageband which is the real pisser, or Toast which they were supposed to but that's neither here nor there. Having no concerns for the scruples of such actions seeing as how this compiter is totally licensed for it, I downloaded Garageband off of LimeWire. no problem it installed fine, but it won't open because it didn't come with any instruments. I have since downloaded jam Pack 1.0 to try and install that, see if it would work, but no luck. it won't let me mount the .dmg file. I suspect the jam pack may have the wrong file extension but can't for the life of me figure out what it would be. I opened it up in textEdit and the header doesn't look like a dmg, but i don't know what it DOES look like either. mostly, i'd like to know what /library/Application Support/Garageband is SUPPOSED to look like in case all I need to do is rename this one file. Any other help anyone can offer is greatly appreaciated though
