Hi everyone,

My name is Ben and I live in the Madison area. I'm looking to get back into Urbex after a 5 year hiatus due to a trespassing ticket I got that kinda killed my passions. I found this forum while looking for nearby places and figured why not?

I like creating art (ink, pens, markers, all that shit), watching movies, and browsing obscure media/digital art projects on Youtube. Looking forward to what lies ahead!

Hello everyone! My name is Mélody, I am a French Canadian, I live in the city of Montreal, Quebec. It is in this city that I discovered a passion, not to say an obsession, for UE.

I am the curious, reckless type. The idea of perhaps being able to unravel mysteries frozen in time by venturing where I shouldn't always make me very enthusiastic.

I'm not a photographer, but I know how to capture a snapshot with a camera. XD I'm not the best, but I take pictures!

I may be a rookie, as they say, but I'm not afraid to go out and browse around in search of abandoned buildings, abandoned places where access is prohibited. I learned to search and find places on my own, observing everything around me; identify common but subtle elements found in locations in general. Without wanting to brag too much, I have a flair for research using the various tools available to me, and I discover new ones regularly!

So, if there are any EBU members who are in the Montreal area, and who wish to share some explorations, do not hesitate to contact me privately! I have lots of places to show you around, and others that I carefully reserve, while waiting for good partners, who take the UE as seriously as I do! Ah and, I don't think it's relevant, but I'm also passionate about electronic music, I can say that have a ''double life'' as a stage artist and a DJ. I think I've told you enough, too much! So, if you want to talk to me, don't be embarrassed!

Hello!

I'm another, generally, North Texas based Urbex member. I've done a few abandonment's and a couple of less than stellar drains.

I've always done a massive amount of camping although slowly as of late I've been moving more towards solo adventures more so do to a lack of people to go with. I never really got into photography although I do enjoy the arts. Maybe it's a matter of other hobbies keeping me occupied.

I'd love to do some more explorations with others compared to the mainly solo journeys I've done in the past. Hope to meet you all soon!

I"m not really new to UE or UER. I grew up in a dying coal town in southern WV so a lot of my Summers were spent exploring old buildings when I was a kid but I appreciated it more as I grew up and wanted to help preserve the history of these places. I met my husband a few years ago and he introduced me to this site (and a love of photography and traveling) so I have looked around off and on ever since. We moved to his family home on the south shore of Massachusetts almost a year ago from my hometown in WV so I really don't know anyone in this area.

Hello! My name is Elijah Hallberg and I am from Connecticut. Photography is something I've always had a passing interest in, but it's only recently I've gotten serious about it. Also, I have always found abandoned buildings so interesting, and intoxicated by the inherent beauty of them. Again, I'm a rookie when it comes to all of this, so I'm hoping you guys and gals could lend me some advice. Here are some questions I have. What kind of gear should I bring? How do I stay stealthy and avoid security? What are some dangers I need to look out for? What should I do if I can't find a buddy to tag along with me? These are just a few basic questions I can think of. If you can think of any other pointers I should know of PLEASE share them! I'm trying to learn as much as I can so I can not only prevent harm from coming my way, but to also make the most out of these kinds of trips. Feel free to direct message me as well if you feel inclined to do so. I'm really happy I found this forum and I am looking forward to sharing my findings with all of you!

Hi I'm Alex! I live near Cincinnati in the southwest of Ohio. I've been interested in exploring abandoned stuff for a few years but wasnt able to start until last summer when me and some friend went on a trip down to Portsmouth, OH. Still very new this so I would love to meet up with people in the area and get tips.

Howdy! I go by PSquiddy, and I'm from the California Central Valley. I've been on the site for a while but want to get more involved. Urban exploration is something I've loved for almost 3 years now, so any chance for me to get more acquainted with the community would be great.

Hey there yall, recently moved to a city full of fun dirty and moldy things to look at and to spelunk, I grew up with not much more than abandoned train stations and have always had a lust for the confined, the grimey, and the profane. I'm so very excited to exist in this place where my curiosities and proclivities aren't shamed or responded with dirty looks. Be blessed yall, and thanks for the new home feel free to hit me up if your near pittsburgh and want a new buddy. In it for abandos, rains and any kind of tunnels. Keep creepy yall!!!

Yo hey, I'm new. Was doing a bunch of tunnel crawling and exploring abandoned buildings back in Australia since I was a teenager, I've just moved to Ontario.

My first big exploration was an abandoned hospital block that was completely guttered inside. It was such a trip, since then I was hooked.

Anyhow, I had a bunch of friends back home that were into exploring and we'd all hype each other up over new places we'd stumble across but moving to Canada I'm kinda out of the loop with all that.
Its too cold for much exploring for me atm but I thought I'd hop on here in hopes of meeting some likeminded people on this side of the globe

Hello out there to all my fellow lovers of the abandoned, desolate, liminal places. I'm new to this virtual community, but I have always had an affinity for urban exploration. Like many, I was just unaware it had a name. I grew up in the southern part of the United States so forgotten spaces are something I've long been familiar with. I currently live on Cape Cod and am looking for friends in the area to explore with!

Also, here's a photoset of an exploration on the cape.

Wish I was closer, I'm originally from Australia, I've only ever heard about cape cod from vonnegut novels. Wanna visit one day

Hey! I'm Quinn, and I'm from the northeast US. I've been exploring for about a year now, though I signed up for the forum just this week.

I've always been fascinated by abandoned buildings and structures, though there was really never anything back at home to speak for. Ever since I've gone off for school though, I've been performing mischief around campus and the surrounding areas with a group of friends. Until now it's mostly been getting into utility rooms and tunnels, as well as some rooftops, though I'm once again looking to explore some abandoned structures in the area - especially once I get a better camera. I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences on the forum, perhaps along with some of my less self-incriminating photos.

Hey! I'm James and have been a longtime lurker of this forum haha. I've been in a couple caves, a drain, and a crashed plane and am very new to UE. You can find me in Victoria and Vancouver BC.

Hi, I’m Malcolm. I’ve been reading posts on this forum for about a month, so I guess it’s time to finally say something. I’m in the SoCal area and am fairly new to the hobby. Been rooftopping and doing Urbex for about a year. There isn’t much here in Santa Barbara, but what is here I’ve explored the hell out of. I like taking photos and I hate taking photos. Looking forward to sharing some neat stuff (albeit in 1080p) and getting some tips!

Hiiiii guys!!
I'm pretty new to this, only explored a few nearby places (most of them being forests, not true "urban" exploration), but I'm really excited to be here!
Anyone have any general suggestions for a beginner?

Hey all, I’ve been in the military a few years now and have found all sorts of neat spots abandoned on the bases I’ve been stationed at. Currently in southern AZ, but I’m on orders to southern CA in a few months. I’ve been doing exploration for a few years now, but recently came across a site that’ll require some technical work. Looking forwards to sharing and hearing y’all’s advice.

Hello, my name is Curtis. I’m from the Portland, Oregon area and I’m new to Urbex. I’ve explored forests and old broken down things as a kid, but never really got into it. Until now. All though there’s not much to explore in this area, I love to take pictures of what I can.
