Being in Texas we aint got much in the way of long offroad trips, all the land is private or fenced and or state parks, not OHV friendly

We got some large private spreads 2700-3000 acres pay to play so to speak but Id really like to see pics from some trail rides in the Natl forests or BLM lands if anyones got pics or routes like in New Mexico to share

I've talked with que pasoe, and jonsered, they collect bikes also. Out here in California we have allot of desert, drylakes, forest, foothills. But my favorite is the single track stuff that goes on for miles in our foothills and forests.
If you run out of gas on one of these trails, (and I have) it sucks soooo bad!!

as I was riding from DFW to Frisco last week I stopped at a few on-road places to explore along old Route 66 but didnt take my little puerco off-road, I saw some extraordinary riding areas from the Interstate however

Dallas to frisco? Good God!!! I can ride for about 1.5 hours on my speed triple, then I gotta stop and walk about a little.

I flew from LAX to Denver, bought this truck and drove it back to L.A. Very interesting trip with only the tools that the TSA would allow me as carry on.
especially when your driving a 44 year old truck, that you've never laid eyes on before.

Best trip of my life, Bought indian blankets, and lots of fireworks, stopped when I felt like it, no time sched, or worries. It hit 115 degrees near Needles,
I thought I would die. The truck never faltered once.

DFW to Frisco and back via I40 and I5 about 3400mi round trip and still trying to recover

I was prepared for the heat but froze my nuts most of the trip had to change from a full jacket to a vest in Needles it was about 82F that day

I forgot to ask " HOW IS YOUR HEARING? " Those shotguns were blasting away not 3 feet from your head for 3400 miles.

you know at 80mph the Short Shots aint as bad as the wind noise with my half helmet

it was kind of humbling to get passed by BMWs doin a silent 90mph

I was just looking at that second shot and in my drunken stupor, realized that I know that place. Or one just like it. It looks like some place in maybe AZ on I40. I know too many places A guy from WI shouldn't. We're not supposed to leave the state, either because of probation, or you fall off the edge of the world.

you can hear your engine much better AND cut ~25 db out of the road noise you hear while riding. The latter lets me rock out while riding out...
