Posted by Metaprogrammer Guilty pleasure: Dubuisson Scaldis Prestige: $40 a 750ml bottle is expensive, but damn it's tasty (and 12% alcohol.) Go-to beer: I rarely order beer at a restaurant, but when I do, it's usually an IPA. Russian River Brewery's Pliny the Elder is my usual IPA on the west coast, but Lagunitas IPA will do. Go-to cheap beer: Pabst Blue Ribbon. For the money, it doesn't get any better. $3.99 a sixer/$6.99 a 12. Schlitz will suffice in a pinch if it's ice cold. Look-at-what-I'm-drinking beer: 9 liter bottle of St. Feuillen Tripel at the two places that have it. 3 liters of Chimay Blue elsewhere, or anything that only comes in a 750ml bottle. I Looooooooooooooooooove Beer. |

Posted by ActionSatisfaction Esq. I'm drinking some shitty Dogfish Head Raison D'Etre right now, and it's killed my beer writeup for the night. |
Posted by velcrozeppelin Discovered that Guinness is indeed better when poured from or drank straight from a bottle, despite their propaganda that says drink from bottle, pour from can. |
