For a building that was built in 1864, it's in mighty fine condition!!!!

The one year I lived in Edinburgh's New Town, I had a flat in a building erected in the 1750s, if I remember correctly. Yes, that's the New Town of Edinburgh.

The main building is from 1864 but the convincing-looking add-ons are from the 1930s and the not-so-convincing ones are from the 1970s. Still remarkable how it's survived though. But I'm sad that the clean-up crew's been in there, I always thought it'd be packed full with all the old equipment left over after they moved to New Craigs (which will probably last a quarter of the time Craig Dunain has).
