Hey, I know some information about the status of the renovation for this building.

As far as I am aware, the building will stay where it stands, and will not be taken down. I am related to someone who is in the company that will be pitching the designs for the renovation, so I’ve got lots of information on the status of the building.

As far as I am aware, it’s just gonna be another mixed use tower for businesses and hotels, etc, but the restaurant on top will stay, but I’ve heard it will not revolve anymore.

They will begin demolition of the interior soon, but for now the building stays and remains abandoned.

I wanted to provide another update after a friend attempted a recent exploration.

The entire public parking lot on the ground floor is now completely surrounded in barbed-wire fencing, and has a construction hut with (I think) 24 hour guarding. If I had the permission to update this page, I would, and I would say it would be extremely dangerous to try and enter now.

Expanding on that, I believe full time demolition is beginning. This means that floors are now unsafe, the site is constantly guarded and monitored, and that only adds on to the previous boarding up difficulty and motion sensors in the building. If you’ve got a strong desire for adrenaline, you could attempt to get in to this spot, but I would not recommend it. I will keep updating when I get more information.
