Posted by INeedAttention.com Heard on the news this was going to be redeveloped into mixed use residential / commercial with some (limited) preservation of buildings with "unique features". It looked like there was a lot more to this site than was featured here. They also mentioned it was severely polluted, and my biases make me think that if it was so badly polluted it might still be unsuitable for residence, but I won't be buying one anyway. Anyone got any other info on this place?

I'm not that familiar with the place: i am working with a place in georgia that is redeveloping a bunch of old waterfront in an old industrial area, and the developers tell me they are actually "replacing dirt", i.e. grading the fuck out of it and trucking in new dirt.
I cant imagine what they would want to save, but at lest they are making use of waterfrontage.
About fucking time. I'd buy, its cheaper than a condo in ond of the Trump properties or ANYTHING in orlando.
Trump Baja is a great deal at 250k, but I doubt there will be a "Trump Schenectady anytime soon
