Both Carbo-Sil and the nearby Battery City will be demolished by the end of March, information came from a contractor I bumped into on site.

This afternoon 3/14/09 I witnessed Carbo-Sil in the process of being demolished. They had taken down some of the smaller buildings on the southern end of the site.

I'm sure the larger parts of it are soon to follow.



(On a side note the battery factory was still standing at this time, but probably not for long.)

Parts have definitely been demo'd, but it doesn't look like they are actively working on it. (as of yesterday)
