I stumbled across this one day and found it absolutely beautiful and haunting! A lady who lived across the street came out and was talking to me about it as I snapped some pictures from behind the fence that guards it. She said before the church sold, someone had gone around collecting money to upgrade the roof, then took off and sold the church? She mentioned that the facade that's left was going to be built into a restaurant or a bistro or something like that. Also she has had to scare off kids throwing stones at the windows several times...

I drive by there every week or so to see if it's still standing. I'm surprised at how long just that part has been left with no progress as to what it will become. Every time I go by that lady at the corner house is outside!
