This is awesome news for RPG gamers. It's official, Brian Fargo has a team of developers ready to start work on Wasteland 2, including some original Interplay legends. After years of failed pitches to publishers, he took it to kickstarter for crowdsourced funding and has exceeded the target funding goal. Watch his kickstarter video, it was very inspiring. Love the way he mocks big publishing houses but equally love the fact that he is true to hard-core old school RPG gaming (turn-based, party based, tactical etc). Younger gamers here are probably unaware of Interplay games - they were genre defining and made some of the most influential RPGs ever (eg: Bard's Tale, Fallout, Baldur's Gate, Wasteland etc). I've pledged my $$$ for a bigger better Wasteland 2. Will you ?
