Poll Question:
Does a supernatural, all-powerful, omnipotent being have to use a natural process to create?
Total Votes:6
1. Yes, of course, the omnipotent being is not omnipotent. It was just good PR.00 %
2. Yes, rule 23 of Science says that omnipotent beings must follow rule 14 of Science233.33 %
3. No, and the fact that an omnipotent being wouldn't have to do that PROOOOOVES that he didn't00 %
4. No, he just went extra far out of his way to give humans brains and the ability to learn, intuit, and deduce logically, and then treated them like little bitches by making all evidence in the Universe support the facts that it is a natural process. Even after he created the structure of the Universe to support such a natural process, he didn't use it, cuz Fuck You.466.67 %

I watched the whole thing and didn't lose any more brain cells than I did hearing that foolishness in high school twenty-six years ago.

But it still hurts to hear.

When we got to this point in my junior high science class, my teacher said something blindingly intelligent. It basically was this...

"I'm not here to teach religion. I teach science. So what is going to happen is I will teach what the book says, you'll ask questions that deal with what the book says, and the test will cover what the book says. Questions relating to religion you are welcome to take to someone qualified to answer them for you, but that isn't me. My religion doesn't have a seven-day creation story so I have no answers for you. Take them to your church or your family."

(Student #1)-"What religion are you?"
(Teacher) "None of your business."

Fun Fact. Neil deGrasse Tyson isn't a atheist and has to constantly correct his wikipedia page due to atheist claiming him as one of their own.

How can these ideas evolve from better ideas? That makes no seeense. Evolution is thusly inherently flawed.

I just find it funny that almost every atheist I know also claims him as one of their leaders, yet, he isn't..........

It doesn't matter who or what he is. The quote has nothing to do with atheism or religion. The point I'm trying to make here is that there is absolutely nothing about science that conflicts in any way with religion.

He's agnostic.

In the US, some pissy pants would probably regard that as hate speech.

It stayed up for like a week, so I think someone eventually complained. Still epic though.
