Any cloud apps come close to how Gmail use to look and act?

Gmail looks like shit now and is a real pain to look at. No custom themes, colors, it bites bad.

I've still got themes on my domain mail hosted by google, and my collection of various gmail accounts.

Do you use Firefox or Chrome to browse? Might want to check and see if theres an add-on/extension that can bring it back. I haven't checked myself, but i know there are quite a few Gmail-oriented extensions.

Took a quick look at the FAQ, found this (under the 'learn more' about themes link).

So custom themes will likely make a return appearance.

I'm using the most current version of FF and add-ons. Everything was there one day and -boom-, just switched to horrible standard theme, and all my custom theme settings were lost.

That happened one by one to all my Gmail accounts. bastards.
The Gmail control panel no longer shows custom themes after they made the switch.

Of coarse Google would not respond to my inquiries. Even MS will at least send a reply.
