Bought my first car in '74 when I was 16. A '71 Toyota Corolla Coupe narrowly won out over a '68 Beetle. A Fiat 850 convertible was also in the running, too much rust. Have seen maybe one since then.
The Toyota had a double sided key that fit the ignition and the trunk. How much more complicated does this need to be?
I mostly switched to Domestic years ago, but wonder why the new '88 K Car has the key go in upside down. As did my old Cordoba, with cloth seats
Sorry Ricardo...
You may be right Kuro, but no matter how rich I ever might get, no valet is getting the key(s) to my Countach. If they can drive the car, the rest is gravy.
My '80 Cheyenne has a -looks like a lock but lol on you- impenetrable slit in the glove box door.
Remember the Ford Aerostar Vans and Pickups that had the decal on the front hubs with a red line that looked like locking hubs from 8 miles away. The games car companies play are kind of amusing at times...
