All IROC camaro owners at least...

actually, lately, here, the trend is Mustang owners are HUGE mulletrons. Even the guys with the V6 cars think they're Vin Diesel's little sister or something. Most Camaros of that vintage have either been totalled, stripped or snapped up by middle aged guys who think they're collectors.

Ya wanna know what is RWD, under 3k, and you can have a 1/2 ton of fun in? A short bed, regular cab, full size Chevy truck from 88-98. Cheap, perfected aftermarket, you can build really cheap power. It will handle like shit, never get rear traction worth a shit, and suck gas. But, and trust me from experience, there is a LOT of fun sliding a pick up side ways across an on ramp at 70mph. A LOT OF FUN.

Plus you have an parts hauler on the side. And driving the truck like a sports car will make you a better driver. Believe that.

We call them "'rican rockets" around here because it seems like 90% of people who drive lowered trucks around here are Hispanic. Maybe it's because there are more low income Hispanics than low income Whites but lowered trucks seem to be a popular vehicle choice within the P.R. community in my college town, (demographics: 51% White & 40% Hispanic).

They buy a truck cheap, do a hell of a hack job lowering it so it'd can't clear the curb, put a set of $500 rims on it and then spray paint the rest of it some obnoxiously loud color. Gives them a "tricked out" and "sporty" vehicle without having to pay the premium. Get one with a V8 or good size V6 and they take off like a bat out of hell but only in a straight line; can't corner for shit.
