The grill on the GMC Terrain is just so golly gee goofball ugly. Rendevous and Aztek are starting to look pretty good. If cheap and reliable, I'd go there, too bad they are neither.

Here's a good looking, imho, from the front and side at least, car that unfortunately doesn't measure up in the performance and handling department. Volvo C 30.

I absolutely love the C30. It seems to be a love/hate car.

And yeah, I agree with all of the minivans you listed! The Quest looks like it's wearing a loaded diaper with that saggy ass.

At least the Caravan sticks to its roots in its current form, but I am sure Bandi will say it looks like whale vagina...

It's a non-turbocharged van and the engine is in the front, so it really doesn't do a lot for me. As far as minivans go, I suppose it's one of the least offensive looking ones you can buy today.

(For front engined vans I DO like the VW Eurovan, but not as a daily driver, I wanted one for a rally service vehicle since it's basically a truck)

I had a 93 Caravan. You do strange things when you have a family, but it served me well on Phish tour.

The newest models with the 3.6L Pentastar V6 and the 6sp are pretty nice actually... I drove a new one owned by a friend of the family who used to work for GM and I was impressed overall... much nicer than my wife's 05.

Yeah. I'm aware. I have to work on those pieces of flaming shit. They're so bad, VW has re-engineered a bunch of the Mopar parts... originally, all Routan parts were in Mopar boxes. That's changing as VW is getting sick of doing warranty brake jobs at 10,000 km, having dome lights fall out of the trunk lid, having taillights fill up with water when the vehicle hasn't even left the lot yet, etc.

ONE MORE YEAR of these pieces of shit and we're out of that deal.

It was severely underpowered. The only thing I liked about it was there was enough room in the back for me to sleep when the seats were out.
