Obscure Vertical Devices < on 8/25/2012 7:27 AM > | Reply with Quote
This site is a little confusing to navigate, but this guy has an incredible collection of thousands of different obscure rappelling and ascending devices. It's truly fascinating to look through the list. I have wasted hours on this site!

It's good to see that site return, it is indeed amazing.
On the topic of crazy vertical devices, this wins my award for craziest looker... it's like some deranged marriage between a robot and a high heeled shoe.

Mr Storrick was a great input to my arborist's forum.
He has an amazing amount of devices for input!
This only serves to uphold my point that all vertical access folks should be as familiar with as many different devices as they can be.
Most device rely on the same basic mechanisms. If you understand these, you will understand all the others.
