So, at my work, there's a resident who has offered a deal (with split payment may I add) on his 1995 Chevy Silverado with the 454, 4WD and extended cab. The only thing thats holding me back on it is the fact it has dualies.


Now, I've only learned that dualies are good for towing only and suck at off-road, BUT Then I remembered this:



has dualies and is pretty awesome off-road (we went thru a chicane at speed in it) So I am now confused and I am sure you guys has opinions on the very subject

Duallies don't flex well. And if you are going to get one, go diesel. Sure that 454 is fun, but 12mpg on the highway isn't.

I think 12mpg is too conservative . Also, there terrible in snow!
