After watching Red State, i think he would do a great job. I also think they should get directors that are more indie minded, like Tarsem Singh (the cell, the fall) or Tom Twyker(run Lola run, perfume, cloud atlas) or Jean Pierre Juenet (Amelie, city of lost children). I think those kinds of directors could really bring something special to it.


My reasoning is that he's from our generation, you know, one of us as kids who went to see Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi 20 times and loves Star Wars as much as we do. If not more.

After what Spielberg did to the last Indiana Jones movie, I hope the Directors Guild takes his card away.

Hey...they may just make a Star Wars land at Disney World now, giving me more reason to go back than just my hunt for stuffed Ewoks...which I couldn't find, so I settled for Duffy bear dressed as a Jedi.
