I have been driving my 73 bug every day with no heat....bit chilly. But it's because I don't have my heat hooked up. Running J tubes.

I'm jealous. And you know I'm not joking.

sold my 914 shell for 300 bucks and the guy offered me a complete 1.7 914 engine and a 2 liter short block. then asked if I wanted a tail shift trans as well. So now I'm getting a rough, but solid 74 baja bug for 800. winter bug! Still no heat, but yeah fun will be had.

Hey yeah you, fat ass. Not interested.

Hate on the Cruzes all you want, but those RML built cars have been completely dominant since they debuted a few years ago. The Lacetti cars RML ran before that weren't damn bad either.

Sadly, GM pulled the plug on funding so RML left the WTCC at the end of the year. Good for the rest of the WTCC grid though. Now it's basically 100% privateer teams with some quasi-factory help for the Seats, minimal input by BMW, and a factory backed effort by JAS Honda with 2 Civics.

the videogame "GRID" by Codemasters for the xbox360 allows you to drive Lacetti's in the opening couple of races.
I chuckled warmly.

1. I love GRID.
2. Of the front-drivers, I have the most success with the Lacetti. I like its weight distribution better than the Leon, and it's got way more grunt than the Peugeot and Volvo.

And yes, I'm THAT guy that spends hours in open practice on that game fine tuning things - and THAT guy people Facebook looking for help setting up their iRacing cars and who receive 2 page single spaced dissertations on how to do so.

I have an illness.

i play Forza4 and Forza Horizon almost exclusively... Grid is a nice diversion, beautiful to look at, much like Dirt 2.

i would love to get a Cruze shell and import the 1.6L from the BTCC/WTCC car or swap in the 2.0L-T from the last Cobalt SS/TC.

Mind you, the BTCC is a 2.0L turbo with a not-too-reliable fly-by-wire throttle. lol
