I don't know, I haven't seen the Hobbit yet. I'll let you know tomorrow.
I think it'll be fine for two reason A. I like Sylvester McCoy as an actor and B. We don't really know much about Radagast's character other than he's Gandalfs cousin so we don't have much of an image of what to expect.
