| | | Posted by sleeperspirit I had an 89? I think z24 cavalier with a 2.8 v6 and a 5spd I picked up for like 500 bux to use on my 50mi each way commute to school 5 days a week. It didn't really do anything well but I did have fun beating on it and never let me down. The last week I had it the exhaust fell off and sounded like a beast. I ended up giving it to a friend who drove it for a few years. Wasn't a bad car And looked pretty sharp as well with the two tone and z24 ground affects.
| the 88-90 Z24's were the preferred years of Z24. The car had been redesigned in 88 (basically 1982 underneath, but a fresh reskinning) and really looked sharp. 91-94, although having the same body lines, just didn't have 'the look' and their values, versus the 88-90 reflect that. my friends and i in 1998: my friend Lou with his 87 Z24, Brian with his 88 Z24 convertible, his brother Will with his 90 Z24 and me with my 91 RS: Out of those four cars, none survived. The 87 Z was traded for a 98 Neon R/T, the 88 Z24 was destroyed in car versus semi accident on Interstate 87, the 90 Z24 was destroyed in a car versus pickup accident on NY 9N/22 and the 91 RS was left in Tennessee when I moved back to New York.

| | | We picked up our Westfalia from the factory in 1971. 250,000km later it had driven across Europe ten times, Australia five, and supported three families; father, two sons & their families, over nearly 25 years of camping. Underpowered it was for highways, back roads, off roads, beaches, mountains and you name it, it went there though... A typical Westy story I am sure. Neko.
