Niffty!
I used the mini-traxion for years. They're pretty niffty devices, super handy to have around. They didn't even have the micro out yet when I got the mini, but now they've got 3 different sizes.
I used the mini-traxion in a progress capture to do a taut-line over a canyon gap to transfer myself and dive gear across for rappelling down behind a waterfall into a sinkhole with dive gear.
Problem was, I got the taut-line taut enough that when I went to unhook the spring on the mini-T, it was pure hell because I'd pulled damn near ALL the slack out; each time I went across and got back over I'd pull it a bit tighter to remove the slack I'd created from the weight on the line.
You need a good inch or so of play left over in order to de-slack the system to unhook the spring mechanism. Just something to keep in mind.
