On a side note, what epic place do you live?

I moved to Port Angeles, WA in October for a job. It's across the water from Victoria, BC.

It takes about 30 mins to drive from beaches to mountains, with rainforests in the middle. Really pretty with excellent hiking, hunting, and fishing

Port Angeles is neat! I'm going to Vancouver Island in March! I'll swing by Port Angeles on the way back via the MV Coho and will have to stop by your place for a beer!

And A Lien, we need to meet up to!

My # is 3015200516, send me a text. I travel around WA with my job but give me some dates and we can grab a brew at Peaks Pub.

I have yet to visit Victoria...

If I were more foolish with my savings and credit, I would've bought a 4wd Matrix or a Subaru Legacy wagon. Every time I stray from the Japanese, I regret it.

Sam, we had a cobalt ss in the shop yesterday with 200k, and it drove like a 200k mile hammered up car but the engine ran great and didn't leak a drop.

200,000 miles or kilometers?
also was it the 2.0L Supercharged Ecotec, the 2.0L Turbocharged Ecotec or the 2.4L VVT Ecotec?

My SS had 114,000 miles on it when I traded it. i didn't want to trade it, but the payment was killing me and the car was just too impractical for where I am from.
Still, it was a great fun car and I miss it.

Do you get decent snow there, and what do you do for a living? Not to be nosy so don't answer if you don't want but I have really wanted to get to the North West now for a while.

why is it I have only had ONE Cavalier and ONE Lumina that was a rotbox? the rest have been fine.
my 85 Type 10 Hatchback was pretty ripe as was the 93 Luminator.

My first car was an '84 Type 10. It was a rotbox.

But rather than going back and forth once again, isn't there some empirical data that says which cars are more reliable? Consumer Reports I know has that info.

Consumer Reports doesn't exactly have an equal statistical method for their cars than their washer surveys. I won't get into it here.
