| Entry: Stop, Look & Listen (SLL) originally posted by Acadian

| Upon entering the physical structure of a location, whether it be a barn, an abandoned industrial site, and old house, etc. use the SLL - Stop, Look and Listen. It takes only a minute or so but can tell you whether you might encounter wildlife (raccoons, skunks, etc.) or if you might encounter human life (squatters, druggies, etc.). I listen for sounds natural to the location (flapping shutters, loose tin on a roof, wind from a basement window) and then become aware of sounds that might indicate the presence of other beings. | Modify this entry | Remove this entry |
