If any of you can get to the montreal area Dynasty Volks has gone under, they were an independant Volks garage known in the montreal area for their inventory of obscure volks stuff. Well worth the trip

Remember Adirondack VW & Hobby Shop on US 9 just before Keeseville, Expos? That guy was the air-cooled ninja master until he put all his money up his nose.

Wasn't that in Ausable Chasm? I know one of my cousins used to go there for parts for that odd VW air cooled generator he had.

I stopped at a shop last week that's been running since 1955. The municipality told him to get rid of his 230 parts cars or face a $300,000 fine.

They wouldn't let him get a building permit to build a parts warehouse (his shop is literally in the middle of a bunch of $500,000+ suburbs), so he bought a bunch of transport trailers, dismantled all of the parts cars, and stored all the bits inside them. Transport trailers are "temporary" so they municipality can't do shit.

The cool thing about the shop? It's where my formula vee was designed and built.
