FYI, the place is still mostly operational, have encountered police there.

Not cool if Five-0 is there ... it means it will be harder and harder ...

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Did anyone else make it out there since? I'd love to see more photos of this place. I'll probably try to go back out there when it gets foggy.

Also, may be planning a climb of the Cinesphere if anyone is interested...

I would strongly discourage climbing it. The rope thats there isn't safe, and there's no good way (that I know of) of securing a rope to it to stop yourself from falling.

Myself and a friend got about 30 feet away from the top, (using the ladders and the rope that was there) before we realized how dangerous it was.

You'll have more fun inside than on top.

Checked the Cinesphere out, they lock every entrance at night now. Original plan was to scale it with climbing gear (i'm a mountain climber), but cant anymore due to abnormal amount of security there all night.

Spent an entire night there last weekend, cover almost the entire park. May or may not go back this weekend. Why are you waiting for fog? Think it's gonna look good in the long exposures?

Probably for less visibility. (for security)

Very cool, man. You're the master of the ultra-wide. (Nice portrait of me, too : )

J.

Was just wondering if it was you in #4, thanks for confirming that.
