I've noticed that one of the problems with getting older is that you start to believe your own hype, so to speak. "I've been alive this long, I'm no idiot, I've learned some things. I need to pass this wisdom on." So you try to do the "right thing" and get involved, and pretty soon you are deep into something that didn't concern you and wasn't your old, grey, grumpy ass business anyway.....and you just don't get the whole thing because you're from a different time and scene, and you ARE an idiot, and your so called wisdom sounds a lot better over a few beers than in the cold light of day. Unfortunate that by the time I have something to pass on, its irrelevant. I feel like an armored knight at the advent of the firearm.

Old thread... I know,

I had to add to this, aging pisses me off because I had my first prostate exam today.

That is all.

It's called the PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) test. It's not prefect, but it's certainly better than a finger up my ass until I show other symptoms worthy of a finger up my ass.

Jonsered - I'm going to reply just because you and I have both talked about being the "old folk" on here! I've been away for quite some time - hope your doing well and glad to see your still here.

I've started occasionally sitting on my balls... they're getting quite dangly. They're starting to get in the way a bit.
