To begin with a simple two transistor FM transmitter. Just a not with the inductor (coil) make sure when fine tuning that you operate it on a frequecy not used by any form of service (ambulance ,police etc) even though this one cannot go further than 200 metres, some of the more powerful ones can go further, if a police officeer or such comes in range of your transmission i doubt he/she will be pleased.
this is the transmitter, cheap, simple, effecive. A note about the transistor,
if you cannot get not get "2N706" ask the atendant if they have any substitutes, they should be aware of the, the 2N series are very regular transistor (in Australia at least)

This is the receiver, im sorry i couldnt find the simpler one, if i can i will upload it as well. For the record i have not had the best of luck with the receivers, so i just tend to use a small radio and tune around until i find the reception of the transmitter. good luck.
