It sounds like people need to stop hanging their Flavor Flav necklaces off of their keychains.

i drove my brothers beater Malibu yesterday and his fucking keychain was about 12" long and weighed 3lbs. After about four miles, i pulled over, pulled all the shit off the ignition keyring and continued. How the fuck do you drive with all that shit on your keyring?

Okay, I admit I have lots of keys on my keychain BUT I have my car keys on quick disconnects so I can remove only that key and keep the rest in my pocket.

My key chain consists of my Saturn's key, my Honda's key, 2 split rings, and my house key. My wife has one dangly bit on her keychain that weighs as much my entire set of keys.

I find I gain about one key every two weeks, then I have to start a new key chain after a couple months so I don't have a 10 lb ball of keys to haul around.

the key and fob for the Cruze are VW-style... the key pops out of the fob. On that I have my house key, a GTA5 keychain, my class ring and a rubber Fox keychain.
that's all.
i keep my work keys on a separate ring in my backpack and my fourwheeler keys on are on a ring with my shed and padlock keys... I never say the need for extraneous keys on a ring.
