Lava buckets are disabled. I totally get that, since they are a griefer's best friend. I was just trying to build an easy nether portal, and maybe some cobble columns for a build I have in mind.

Maybe set up a rank system? Pretty easy with Bukkit, which it seems we are using.

Settler: new to server, no access to lava buckets, can have 3 sethomes.

citizen maybe after 2-3 weeks?: may place lava and can have 4 sethomes.

You could have a few more ranks after that if you wanted Misfit. Maybe use the disguise plug in to allow different disguises depending on your rank? Each rank could have more sethomes?

Just an idea. Lava is useful when used properly, but I get why it's turned off.

I like the idea of a rank for more trusted users. Good call. I'll start setting it up this weekend. I'll likely keep it manual for now.

Any other permissions you'd like to see turned on for that role?

Not sure what you have off to be honest. Just stumbled on the lava thing after trying to use it.

I like it just vanilla for the most part to be honest.

The sethomes are nice to have when you start exploring far away from spawn, and find useful biomes.

Can we use that random building near spawn (Has a sign saying "what should we use this for?") As a community chest type of deal? So if someone has something they don't want, they can put it in there and others can take things out?

Snow golems dont work?

By that I mean, I can craft them, and i put one up near spawn so everyone could get free snow and craft blocks, but it wont work when you hit the shovel under the golem. No snowballs.
