here is my newest one, she needed a few things, filler neck (rotted), lf brake caliper leaking, muffler broken off. But got some take off 03 wrx strut/spring assemblys to go on it, got a new DC sport muffler put on (sounds lovely like a Subaru) . I think it may need headgaskets though and leaks a bit of oil but ill get to it one of these weekends. Cant ask much for $1500

I have a 98 Forester now with the 2.5 and love it. The previous owner did a rebuild on the motor and put in the GOOD headgaskets. I'm in the process of fixing a shimmy going that sometimes pops up at highway speeds and I think I found the culprit which is the shocks.

Apparently, there is a way to put the HG on too without pulling the motor on the 2.5 without pulling out the motor. Everything else is pretty easy, even the valve covers.

The one thing that I am still getting used to on the Subaru boxer at least with the 2.5 is the higher RPMs for cruising.
