Is he paying you to attend? He's offered to fly to Korea before and pay me to show him around. His utter desperation is the most annoying (and from a distance the most hilarious) thing about him.

For the record, I did get him up to $350 AND all meals/drink/hotel fees.

If you think the community is being hard on it then think of it like this... Would you want your grandmother to spend her savings to have a chance to appear on Jeopardy?

Now keep in mind he has ALREADY said he will post the places we show him online for others to enter and you get a toxic potion. He was just not meant to be part of this group. It is sad but true.

He has offered me money multiple times, but i refuse to accept. Giving him the joy of something he's been begging to do for years is payment enough.

Bilph should stick to some other hobby that doesnt involve socializing, trust, secrecy, and reputation.

Anyone who wants to know who Bill Finan is, just friend him on Facebook and read his posts and conversations with people. But he didn't seem normal to me. And it seems like this thread should be locked by now.

Because the event already came and went, almost. The deadline for blocking the poor, sorry sap shifted from April 1st to midnight tonight. I would imagine that this is because turnout for the event was 1000x higher than expected. (and it was)

On Facebook, the event is called 'National BLOCK Bill Finan Day'. I'm not going to post a link to it, because I ain't going to advertise an event I didn't create. I do agree with blocking the guy though. He's unusually bad news, and I have a strong dislike for people with his kind of hell.


addendum: Turns out that the 'National BLOCK Bill Finan Day' caused Bill to delete 338 of his friends. Talk about awkward:

And yet, the rejection of bullying is the entire point of this. The event was based upon the idea of trying to tell Bill that he needs to get serious mental help, not Facebook crap. And he still won't listen, nevermind admit anything is wrong.

I don't have anything against him personally, and I would never be the one to create an event like the one mentioned, but he acts as though his entire purpose on Facebook is to drag other people down and submit himself to punishment wherever and whenever possible. It's an odd form of masochism.

He's admitted plenty of times to having mental disorders, but yes, he refuses to seek help for them. I don't necessarily agree with him seeking help, as i feel as if everyone has control (for the most part) over their own body and mind, but i do wish he would at least take a bit of advice from people whom are genuinely trying to help him.
